Friday 21st May 2021
Remember this date because it will be forever remembered as the day the children all came together to do something remarkable.
Schools all over the UK will be joining forces to take part in the biggest single fundraising event for wildlife conservation ever held, kickstarting an extraordinary campaign to raise £millions to help protect our planet's amazing wildlife.
On Friday 19th May 2017 we invited 100 primary schools from all over the UK to take part in the first ever Walk 4 Wildlife for children. Over 25,000 children took part, all walking at the same time, at schools and other venues around the country, helping to raise money for their favourite animal charity. Over £75,000 was raised for 38 different wildlife charities, animal welfare organisations and conservation projects in the UK and around the world.
So we have set ourselves a challenge. Imagine what could be achieved if every school takes part!
We'll certainly makes this the single biggest charity fundraising event ever held anywhere in the world
Together we would raise enough money to actually save several species of animals from extinction
Wouldn't it be great if every school took part, raising money for their favourite animal charity, or raising money to develop wildlife areas and insect habitats within their school grounds. Walk 4 Wildlife is a great way to introduce children to nature and a great way to support local wildlife organisations as well as national and international animal charities. Unlike other organised sponsored walks schools choose where to walk, how far to walk and more importantly which charity or project to raise money for.
Following the success of the walk in 2017 we have set ourselves a challenge - to get every school in the UK to take part in what will be the largest fundraising event ever held.
On Friday May 21st 2021 we will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record™ for the largest ever, multi-venue sponsored walk in the world.
